Register as Self-Employed
Before you do your first job. Get your 10-digit UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) and Self Assessment setup. We have a step-by-step guide for this!
Track Your Income & Expenses
Record all earned income (employed and self-employed) and business expenses throughout the year. Use our app or a simple spreadsheet.
File Your Tax Return
By 31st January each year. Include all income types and your business expenses. Your P60/P45 from employers plus your invoices are all you need.
